Editorial: It's going to be Epic!

I went back and forth on what I should document first, and ultimately decided to display my Epic Projects.

Roughly 2 1/2 years ago, I decided to paint up some GamesWorkshop Epic miniatures. I had collected these a long time ago for a fraction of the price they currently sell for. Epic scale is roughly 6mm scale (read: really tiny), and the miniatures themselves are beautifully detailed.

After a few purchases to update the armies, and a year and a half later, I'd painted roughly 18,000 points worth of Epic. I painted 3 "armies", each to roughly 6,000 points. That works out to about 1,000 points per month. To give you some idea of what the above numbers mean; Epic is typically played at the 2-3 thousand point level (although I've seen games of over 10,000 points), so I have enough to miniatures to field 3-5 games worth (both sides!).
