I just went back through my old posts looking for previous "end of year/new year resolution" posts, I really don't title my posts well. Another resolution for the new year! I found one from 2015 titled "Formula Update". Apparently 2016 was so busy/crappy I never bothered with one. Oh well.
What was done in 2016/2015
- Finished Beastmen - army is complete. Well over 4,000 points in Age of Sigmar. I have this vague desire to paint up a Doombull and a Ghorgon, since those are the only two beastman miniatures (not including out of print ones) that I haven't painted.
- Sylvaneth - rebased entire army for Age of Sigmar. I still have the Treeman left to do, but I'm still counting this as a "win". He should be done in the next week. I also added and painted up a Branchwych for the army.
- Night Goblins/Moonclan Grots - army is complete. Over 200 of the little buggers.
- Lucius - army was complete. Then I picked up a second "wave". That'll teach me to walk into a hobby store!
- A Loremaster of Hoeth - painted for an online contest, as well as, a test bed for any future Eldritch Council color schemes.
Resolutions for 2017 (roughly in order that I plan to tackle them).
- Terrain - I'd like to get all my unpainted/unassembled terrain assembled & painted. (2 Balewind Vortex, 2 Realmgates, 1 Hill, 1 Magewraith Thrown). I wouldn't mind adding a Sylvaneth Wildwood into this mix as well.
- Paint all of my GW big box games I own. That'd be Dreadfleet, Space Hulk, Silver Tower, Gorechosen & Bloodbowl. I reckon this is the lion share of activity for the year.
- High Elf - I'd like to rebase a subset of the High Elf army for Age of Sigmar and paint them up (just the Eldritch Council models (about 35 models worth)).
- Paint the other half of the Lucius Crew (probably wait until March for when the Mounted Guard release).
- Paint the Rasputina Crew
- Double the size of the Sylvaneth Army by 32 Dryads, 1 Spirit of Durthu, 1 Treelord Ancient, 2 Branchwychs, 9 Kurnoth Hunters, 10 Tree Revenants. Heck ... if I do all that I'd need to add Alarielle the Everqueen for the complete set.
Eeek! It looks like a lot when I type it all out.
